Freemasonry is a path of personal growth, brotherhood, and service. At Francis Drake Lodge No. 376, we welcome men who are seeking more—more purpose, more connection, and a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them.
Joining our lodge is not about status or recognition. It is about becoming part of something meaningful, where character, integrity, and brotherhood truly matter.
Freemasonry is open to good men from all walks of life. While each jurisdiction may have its own guidelines, the core expectations are simple:
You are at least 18 years of age
You believe in a higher power (no specific religion required)
You are of good moral character and reputation
You are joining of your own free will—not by invitation or pressure
You have a sincere desire to grow, learn and contribute
These values are consistent across Masonic lodges and emphasize character, integrity, and personal motivation rather than background or status.
Becoming a Mason is a thoughtful and meaningful journey—not something rushed. Here’s what you can expect:
Reach out to us through our contact form or attend one of our public events. This is your opportunity to meet members and ask questions.
We’ll invite you to spend time with our members so you can better understand who we are and what we do. This step ensures it’s the right fit—for you and for us.
If you decide to move forward, you’ll complete a membership application. This formally begins your journey.
A small group of lodge members will meet with you to learn more about your intentions and answer any questions you may have.
After careful consideration, the lodge will vote on your petition.
If accepted, you will be initiated and begin progressing through the degrees of Freemasonry—each one designed to teach valuable lessons about life, character, and brotherhood.
Membership in Francis Drake Lodge No. 376 offers more than meetings—it offers a lifelong experience:
A strong sense of brotherhood and belonging
Opportunities for personal and moral growth
Meaningful community involvement and charity
Lifelong friendships and support
A connection to a tradition that spans centuries
One important principle in Freemasonry is this:
You must seek it for yourself.
No one will ask you to join. The decision begins with you—your curiosity, your interest, and your desire to become part of something greater.
If you feel that Francis Drake Lodge No. 376 is the right place for you, we encourage you to reach out.
